Lloyd picks up a new bike

Tristen gets his bike back!!!

I have never seen a happier child in my life. He came out of the house and immediately said "Thank You!” he was so grateful! He didn't waste any time jumping on the bike and taking off down the street. It was awesome. The work that Sunshine Bike Shop (417-883-1113) did was amazing. They donated the parts, labor, and delivery along with a lock I am sure you'd have to steal the fence with to get the bike, and a helmet to protect Tristen while riding his newly redone bike.

I saw the bike before and after, and it now looks brand new! I would know looking at all these new cars all day! ;)

We have more orders to fill, and if you are reading this and feel the want to help out, please give me a call or send me an email. These bikes and repairs aren't cheap and this needs to be done. The further we get along with this project the more we'll figure out. Please let us know if there is anything you can do to help out.

Our next project:

We are going to get William, a young man that cannot ride a bike on the street, a stationary bike. We plan to have this done by Monday! His Mother says he would enjoy that tremendously. Stay tuned as we try to put smiles on these kids’ faces. :)

Jessa took her bike home today!

Jessa and her family came by the dealership today and took home her bike! We had a few more donations today and are working hard to get some more people onto some really cool trikes!

Update for today

Today we had two donations of Trikes that we are planning to help an 11 year old girl with Autism and a 21 year old with Cerebral Palsy. It’s been really rewarding to see some members of the community pitching in like they are, but we still need more help. Any donations can be brought to Reliable Superstore or call me at 417-818-3751 and I will be happy to help out. We set up a bank account for Tristen’s Trikes yesterday and are prepared to write receipts to keep everything organized so you can make all donations payable to Tristen's Trikes!

I can’t wait to meet you all and see how happy we can make others!
